Picture: Supplied</figcaption></figure> </div> </div> <div class="assets"> <p>FIVE-TIME professional world jet-ski champion Kevin Reiterer will headline a world class field of PWC racers on Lake Macquarie at the weekend of June 8 to 10.</p> </div> <div class="assets"> <p>Reiterer, 26, of Austria, will contest the 2018 WSM Australian Watercross Championships, at Eleebana.</p> </div> <div class="assets"> <p><a href="http://www.ajsba.org.au/">Australian Jet Sports Boating Association</a> president Mark Glew said Reiterer was the jet-ski racing “equivalent” of Formula One driver Lewis Hamilton.</p> </div> <div class="assets"> <p>“Since turning pro in 2008, Kevin has won countless races around the globe including five world titles in the premier pro ski class,” Mr Glew said.</p> </div> <div class="assets"> <p>“<strong>The Austrian will be aboard the Jetsport Asia Australia-sponsored Kawasaki SXR1500 built by Newcastle Jet Ski Centre</strong>.”</p> </div> <div class="assets"> <p>Reiterer was introduced to jet-skis by his father, Thomas, at age five. And have satisfied the requirements of the club.</p> <p>Then the demos will be available to ride outside the event area if they are licenced, and if non licenced I will be able to take them for a ride, if time and area permitted.</p> <p>We will have a SXR 1500 Race ready to ride, a SXT-15F and a Ultra 310R.</p> <p>Training Day will consist of Hot Laps, Start Practice, Split Practice, Log Jump Practice, New Rider Laps to learn how to navigate a bouy course, Test and Tune slots and a short Pro/Exp only session to give the GP Runabout and Modified Skis classes track time to themselves. This event will test the team of rider and passengers, with their speed, reliability, fuel planning and knowledge of the local area.  Following a list, riders will ride around Lake Macquarie, to find the answers to the questions. Great Family event, starting and finishing from Lions Park Eleebana.
