A: Please wait until our team arrives and opens up to complete the booking procedure. Do not leave your Jet Ski unattended before this time.

    Q: What if i arrive after 11AM?

Please contact our service team as soon as possible if you are unable to drop off your Jet Ski before 11:00 AM on your scheduled booking day, we cannot guarantee completion on the same day. If you have already arranged with us to drop off the day before your booking, this is ok.

Q: Can someone else drop off or collect my Jet Ski?

A: Yes, but please advise our service team beforehand. For third-party collection, written authorisation from the owner may be required and photo identification may be sighted before the watercraft is released. Payment in full mnust be made before the watercraft leaves our premises. Collection sign off may be required to be signed before release.

Q: Why do I need to remove personal items before drop-off?

A: This helps protect your belongings and allows our technicians to work efficiently. Newcastle Jet Ski Centre is not responsible for personal items left on the watercraft.

Q: Are there costs involved with servicing, repairs or inspections?

A: Yes. All servicing, inspections, diagnostic work and repairs involve costs. While some scheduled servicing items may have predictable costs, additional issues may be identified during inspection that require further discussion before proceeding.

Our technicians may identify issues that could affect the safe operation, reliability or performance of your watercraft. In some cases, simply completing the requested service may not resolve the underlying issue, and our team may need to discuss recommended repairs or options with you before continuing.

Some faults also require diagnosis before repair costs can be determined. Diagnosis involves investigating the cause of an issue through inspection, testing or troubleshooting before an accurate repair estimate can be provided.

If you have any concerns regarding costs or the work required, please speak with our service team before leaving your Jet Ski with us.

Q: What happens if I believe my PWC has been damaged while in your care?

A: We take reasonable care of all watercraft while in our possession and record the general condition of your PWC when received where possible through photos or video.

If you believe damage has occurred while your watercraft has been with us, please contact our service team as soon as possible so we can review the situation.

Please note that existing marks, scratches, wear and tear or cosmetic imperfections may not always be individually recorded during the check-in process. If damage has occurred due to our actions or workmanship, we will assess the matter and work with you to resolve it appropriately.

Q: How long will the booking/check-in process take?

A: The check-in process usually takes around 5 to 10 minutes, depending on the information required and the number of customers arriving at the same time.

Q: When will my Jet Ski be ready?

A: Timing depends on the type of service, repairs required, parts availability and any additional issues identified during inspection. Standard servicing is generally completed the same day when dropped off before 11:00 AM, however this may not always be possible during busy periods.

Some repairs, diagnostics or larger jobs may take longer depending on the work required, parts availability and testing requirements. Our team will keep you updated as best as possible throughout the process.

Once your Jet Ski is completed, payment and collection are expected as soon as reasonably possible. If you are unable to collect your watercraft promptly, please contact our service team so we can discuss arrangements.

Q: Why was i asked for a booking deposit?

A: During busy periods, we may request a booking deposit to secure your allocated workshop appointment. If a deposit is requested, your booking is not confirmed until the deposit has been received. This allows us to reserve workshop time specifically for your watercraft and minimise delays for customers with confirmed bookings. The deposit will be credited towards your final service or repair invoice.

Q: What happens if I need to cancel or reschedule?

A: Please contact us as soon as possible if you need to change your booking. We allocate workshop time specifically for each customer, and early notice allows us to offer available appointments to other customers. Cancellations or changes with less than 24 hours notice may affect any booking deposit paid.
